Waltco Lift Corp. has relocated its distribution center to 620 Hambledon Avenue in City of Industry, California, after 55 years at their previous facilities in Gardena, California.

The new location and enhanced distribution efficiencies will help Waltco continue to grow and evolve to keep pace with clients’ needs while focusing on customer driven solutions.

The new facility will distribute and stock liftgates and replacement parts as well as provide service work for customers and overflow capabilities for distributors. In addition, a new showroom located within the distribution facility will house various working liftgate models and offer meeting space to assist in sales demonstrations and service training opportunities.

The 15,000 square foot facility is located within the core of a 40-mile radius, encompassing Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire.

“We are very excited about the decision to relocate to City of Industry,” said Michael Militello, president of Waltco Lift Corp. “With this move Waltco will be positioned to take advantage of working alongside and servicing some of our long-standing customers and distributors. The relocation also reaffirms Waltco’s commitment to a facility in California to service the needs of our customers and distributors in the West.”

An open house is planned in February of 2010 to showcase the new distribution center.
