Henderson Products, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of truck-equipment products for the municipal and contractor markets, announced that Cameron Holdings, in partnership with Henderson management and Bush O'Donnell Capital Partners, has acquired a controlling interest in the company.
Effective with the acquisition, Randy Smedstad, President and CEO, has announced his retirement from Henderson. Marty Ward, a 22-year veteran of Henderson, has been appointed to replace him.

"We've recorded significant sales growth and financial performance during our many years as the leader in this industry," Ward said. "We are very excited because we see even larger growth opportunities today. But these opportunities require larger financial and operational resources. In collaboration with Cameron Holdings, we’re now positioned to take advantage of these opportunities in a way that will take Henderson to new levels of industry leadership."

"In reality, our customers will see little difference in the day-to-day operation of the company they have come to know and trust. Cameron shares our commitment to growth and continuous improvement in the areas of customer satisfaction, product quality and innovation, employee satisfaction and fiscal responsibility. That focus will have positive long-term consequences for our customers.”
