TRANSMISSION ENGINEER
Our client, a major OEM located in the South East, has an immediate need for a Transmission Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Engineering Mgr. the Transmission Engineer will be responsible for the leadership of the design, testing and analysis of Transmissions and Driveline Systems to power on-highway/vocational trucks and various sizes of off road vehicles. The position requires a BS-ME or equivalent and 4+ years of Transmission Engineering exp with demonstrated expertise in Gear design (parallel & planetary), FMEAs, VA/VE, 3D-CAD, NVH etc. Additionally knowledge of the J1939 protocol is beneficial.
