How to modify truck chassis next year

Here is a general summary of chassis manufacturers recommendations for installing truck bodies and equipment on chassis equipped withengines and exhaust systems designed to comply with the 2007 emissions regulations:
Do not modify exhausts ahead of the particulate trap.
Modifications to the exhaust downstream from theparticulate trap are notrecommended. If necessary, modifications can be made only if exhaust pressures can be maintained.
Avoid running wires near the exhaust system. Use the other frame rail whenever possible.
When in doubt, contact the chassis manufacturer.
