PACCAR Donates $250,000 to Haiti Relief Effort

PACCAR (Nasdaq:PCAR) today announced it was making a $250,000 donation to the American Red Cross to support Haitian relief efforts.

In addition, the company was donating a Kenworth vehicle equipped with a dump body to assist in the clean-up efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake. Coordinating with other relief agencies, the American Red Cross is delivering critical aid to Haiti, including food, shelter and other relief supplies.

PACCAR manufactures and distributes commercial vehicles and aftermarket parts to over 100 countries, including Central America and the Caribbean.

“This tragedy has had a devastating impact in Haiti,” said Mark C. Pigott, chairman and chief executive officer. “All PACCAR employees worldwide send their prayers and support to the families impacted by the earthquake.”
