The Black Rock Truck Group has acquired certain assets of a former truck dealership in Yonkers, N.Y. The new dealership, now called Westchester Freightliner, recently moved into a new 30,000-square-foot facility giving the dealership significantly larger parts and service capabilities, and will offer extended hours of operation, according to Matt McConnell, CEO of Black Rock Truck Group,
The New York Metro market is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate Black Rock's commitment to the highest possible level of parts and service support.
Gerald Beauton, President, said, "The customer base is extremely demanding and we're looking forward to showing them what we are capable of."
McConnell and staff are working to bring Westchester Freightliner dealership up to the same Elite Support certification status as Southern Connecticut Freightliner. Elite Support is an annual certification program from Daimler Trucks North America that includes standards for operational excellence.
McConnell said, "Being an Elite Support dealer is the best way to conduct business for our customers, our company and the DTNA dealer network."
Westchester Freightliner offers new and used vehicle sales, full service repair capabilities and an extensive parts inventory.
They are located at 257 Lake Ave, Yonkers, NY. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m.- 3 p.m. By December, 2015, the hours are expected to be extended from 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
