Kenworth of Ottawa Dealership Opens Renovated Facility

Kenworth of Ottawa, a new full-service dealership, has opened at a newly renovated facility that provides truck drivers expanded hours for parts and service, and easy access to Ontario Highway 417.
Kenworth of Ottawa is the newest member of the Kenworth dealer network of 309 locations in Canada and the United States. The dealership is located on just over 3˝ acres at 3220 Hawthorne Road in Ottawa’s industrial area, and is approximately one mile southwest of the Walkley Road exit from Ontario Highway 417. An adjacent 1˝ acres provides truck drivers space to park their trailers.
The dealership offers truck and trailer maintenance service with eight service bays, one dedicated to offering Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube services. The new location has excellent parts availability through its 800-square-foot parts retail display area and 4,300-square-foot parts warehouse. A driver’s lounge offers truck operators a comfortable place to relax while their trucks are being serviced.
“With easy access to the main provincial route that connects Western Ontario, Quebec, and Montreal, as well as Ontario highways 7 and 416, Kenworth of Ottawa is a convenient location to get parts and service support and to buy new trucks,” said Guy Mercier, dealer principal and president of the Mercier Group. Besides the Ottawa dealership, Mercier Group operates three other locations, all in Ontario: Kenworth of Kingston, Kenworth of Longlac and Kenworth of Thunder Bay. “We’re pleased to open our fourth location. It will allow us to provide our customers in Ottawa immediate access to TRP Aftermarket Parts and seven factory-trained service technicians.”
