German truck manufacturer honors CMP

Consolidated Metal Products Inc. (CMP), headquartered in Cincinnati OH, has received the Trucknology Supplier 2007 award from MAN, a European truck manufacturer based in Munich, Germany. CMP was among only 10 out of several hundred suppliers to be honored with this MAN distinction.
CMP supplies MAN with cold-formed stabilizer bars and U-bolts for its light- and standard-duty trucks. Both suspension products are produced to proprietary metallurgical technology and highly-advanced processing procedures.
Privately held CMP specializes in the cold-forming of suspension components for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty commercial trucks and semi-trailers. With annual production in excess of 20 million pieces, it is a full-line manufacturer of high-strength U-bolts for vehicular leaf spring and air suspensions and superior strength cold-formed stabilizer bars.
