General Body Opens Facility in Arlington, Texas

General Body Manufacturing Co of Houston has opened a location in Arlington, Texas, positioned to service the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma with truck equipment, service and repairs.
General Body Metroplex opens with a Ford truck pool focusing on cab-chassis-mounted equipment. The 83,000-square-foot facility is located at 1801 Timberlake Drive on a 6.7-acre footprint close to the Texas Rangers' and (soon-to-open) Dallas Cowboys' stadiums in Arlington.
Barry White is general manager of General Body Metroplex and Junior Rodarte is shop superintendent. Both men bring years of experience and knowledge of truck equipment to their positions with the company. General Body, based in Houston, has been doing business in Texas since 1961. Owned and operated by Barbara Paull, the truck equipment division is located at 7110 Jensen Drive and the custom manufacturing division is located at 6901 Avenue V -- both in Houston.
