Workhorse Custom Chassis enters its second year of technician training by scheduling classes at more than 100 sites in North America from September to May 2001.

Classes will be held at community colleges, dealerships, and privately owned training facilities. Training locations will be in Ontario, Canada, plus 24 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

Technician training is required by Workhorse dealer agreements.

Workhorse's dealer agreement requires three Workhorse courses for technicians: Electrical Circuits and Meters, Advanced Electronics, and Fuel System Diagnosis. Electrical Circuits and Meters is the prerequisite for all other Workhorse courses. After the mandatory courses, technicians may take the Brake Systems and/or Auto Transmission Electronics and Diagnosis course. Workhorse recommends taking both courses.

The three required Workhorse courses are conducted as four-day programs. Brake Systems and the Auto Transmission Electronics and Diagnosis are both three-day courses.
