Western Star adds six locations

Western Star Trucks said that it has added six locations to its dealer network. The latest additions are Cambrian Truck Centre Inc. in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada; Truck Country of Rockford in Rockford, IL; Truck Country Quad Cities in Davenport, IA; Midway Inc. in Monroeville, OH; Empire Truck Sales in Columbus,MS; and Heritage Equipment in Ashland, KY. Senior vp, sales & marketing John Merrifield said the company intends to grow the Western Star name throughout the U.S. and Canada, and that expanding its dealer network is a key element in that goal. Merrifield said the continuous addition of new locations allows for a significant expansion of the company's sales, service and parts capabilities, which gives existing customers the best service possible and introduces future customers to the Western Star brand.
