Webb Transit introduces its W43 friction product to the heavy-duty transit and coach markets.
W43 was developed to provide both performance and value to transit and coach customers with durability, low brake drum wear, and quiet operation. It is an asbestos-free formulation, with a blend of multiple cross-linked fibers coupled with a high-temperature-capability resin. W43 is FMVSS 121-certified. The result of extensive dynamometer and transit bus testing, this product will be sold as axle sets, on new lined brake shoes, and in Webb Transit's Super Kits. These complete axle kits consist of two Webb brake drums, four new lined brake shoes, and two hardware kits.
W43 is designed to restore OE performance, when used with genuine Webb Transit brake drums and OE or OE equivalent replacement air and foundation brake system parts. Access www.webbwheel.com for more information.
