LTL carrier Viking Freight Inc has expanded its Reno NV service center to increase its freight capacity. Thirty doors have been added to the facility, bringing the new total to 74.

“We've invested in our Reno area service center to accommodate our current business and future growth,” said Keith E Lovetro, Viking's vice-president of marketing. “The additional capacity enables us to process larger volumes of freight in a shorter period of time.”

Viking handles about 1.2 million pounds of freight per day in the Reno service center for customers, including Amazon.com, Arrow Electronics, J C Penney, and Leviton Manufacturing Co.
