Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co recently entered its 87th year in the trailer industry. The company says it is the oldest privately owned, family-operated trailer manufacturer in the industry.
In coordination with this anniversary, Utility opened its seventh regional manufacturing facility in Glade Spring VA. This is the third dry freight van plant built to service Utility dealerships in the eastern United States and Canada. The 258,000-square-foot, $14-million facility produces Utility's newest 3000D-X dry freight van along with its 2000-D model.
