Tri-State Kenworth has opened a full-service Kenworth dealership in Milford, Conn., providing easy access from U.S. Interstate 95.

A member of the Kenworth dealer network of more than 300 locations in the United States and Canada, Tri-State Kenworth–Milford is located on a four-acre site just one-quarter mile east of Exit 40 on the I-95 or Gov. John Davis Lodge Turnpike, the major east-west truck route that connects New York City to Hartford, Conn., and Boston, Mass.

“This new facility is conveniently located in a high-traffic commercial area while providing easy access to and from I-95,” said Scott Pagliughi, Tri-State Kenworth president at company headquarters in Enfield. In addition to locations in Milford and Enfield, Conn., Tri-State Kenworth also operates a dealership in Stoughton, Mass.

“The 13,500-square-foot facility has four drive-through bays, a parts display area plus a parts warehouse for better parts selection,” Pagliughi said. “Because the property has four acres, we’ll have room to add additional drive-through bays and even more parts warehouse space later in 2011 to handle the expected increase in business.

“We’re expecting business to be quite brisk with our new Milford location, because it allows us to offer sales and enhanced service to new and current customers in southwest Connecticut. Operators won’t have to travel 65 miles northeast to Enfield. We anticipate Kenworth’s wide choice of medium duty trucks will be particularly popular with new and existing customers.”

Tri-State Kenworth–Milford has one bay dedicated for truck washings and another for preventive and express maintenance services, including Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube. In addition to its selection of Kenworth heavy and medium trucks, the dealership also offers Kenworth PremierCare parts and service programs and PACCAR Financial support with flexible retail loans, leases and insurance products for the transportation industry.
