Travis Body & Trailer Inc of Houston TX has appointed Utility Trailer Sales Company of Arizona as its newest independent dealer in Arizona. It will represent Travis from its two offices in Phoenix and Tucson. The relationship began in late 2012.
The Cravens family, owners of Utility Trailer Sales Co of Arizona, has been serving Arizona's trailer industry for three generations since 1943, and at the same location since 1953. A long time Utility dealer, it was a factory branch until 1966. The dealership's two locations employ 62 people.
George Cravens, president, is a 25-year employee and grandson of the dealership's founder. He has been president since 1995 and is also current chairman of the Arizona Trucking Association.
The dealership carries the Utility line and represents several other manufacturers. It also stocks and sells heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, and offers trailer service at both locations.
