Trailmobile Canada Ltd has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended Sept 29, 2000. The company reported lower revenues in the fourth quarter as sales dropped to $23.8 million from $32.1 million during the same period in fiscal 1999. Net income for the quarter was $1.1 million, compared with a loss of $935,000 in the same quarter of 1999.
For the fiscal year, strong revenue growth occurred as sales totaled $132.5 million, compared with $80.7 million in 1999. The increase is due in part to the fact that fiscal 1999 was comprised of only nine months as the company moved its fiscal year-end from December to September. When compared on a full-year basis, revenue was up by $19 million, or 17%. Net income for the year reached $2.2 million, an improvement over fiscal 1999's loss of $4.8 million.
