Freightliner LLC has announced that Marc F Gustafson has been named the new president of American LaFrance Corp. He served as president and chief executive officer of Volvo Trucks North America from 1996-2001 and was head of sales and marketing for Mack Trucks Inc from 1992-1996. He succeeds Don Stewart, who has served as president of American LaFrance since March 2001.
Larry G Moore has joined Autocar Truck as vice-president — strategic sourcing and quality. He formerly was purchasing manager and site director at Volvo Trucks in Greensboro NC.
