Navistar International Corporation announced the appointment of Dennis “Denny” Mooney as group vice-president, global product development. He succeeds Ramin Younessi, who is leaving Navistar to pursue other opportunities. Mooney joined Navistar in 2009 as vice-president, global product development.

Polar Tank Trailer has named Jeff Behrens director of purchasing. Based in Opole MN, he is responsible for procurement and logistics for the company's three manufacturing plants. Previously, Behrens was division controller for Polar Service Centers and was controller for Polar Tank Trailer from 1997 to 2011.

Omaha Standard Palfinger (OSP) announced that Andrew Schumacher has been named engineering manager-work truck bodies. Since starting with OSP in 2010, he has held several engineering roles with each product line, most recently with PSC Cranes. Mario Hufnagl has been named engineering and product manager-lifting systems. Since June 2011, he has served with OSP in Council Bluffs IA, responsible for the development of Palfinger service cranes.

Jerry Shepherd, East Manufacturing Corp regional sales manager, has retired after 54 years of trucking industry service, the past 24 with East. He will be succeeded in this position by Mark Fletcher, who joined the company in March 2011. Shepherd started his career with Fruehauf Trailers in 1962. He later served as branch manager and sales representative for four other trailer manufacturers before joining East in 1989 as Midwest regional sales manager.
