Effective June 1, 2009, Martin Daum will become head of Daimler Trucks North America. He will replace Chris Patterson, who will retire after 32 years

Effective June 1, 2009, Martin Daum will become head of Daimler Trucks North America. He will replace Chris Patterson, who will retire after 32 years of service to the North American commercial vehicle industry, 11 of them with DTNA. Daum is currently head of operations at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Woerth (Germany). Also effective June 1, Dr. Albert Kirchmann will become head of Daimler Trucks Asia, and will also be president and chief executive officer of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation. He will replace Harald Boelstler, who is to retire June 30 after a career of more than 30 years at the Daimler Group. Kirchmann is currently head of Finance & Controlling, Business and Product Planning at Daimler Trucks & Buses.

Michael G Flynn has been appointed regional sales manager for New York and New England by Rogers Brothers Corporation. With more than three decades of experience in sales of agricultural, construction, specialized equipment, and lowbed trailers, he most recently has focused on specialized hauling, which developed through his involvement with the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association.

Ann Durham has been promoted to president of Global Vehicles USA Inc, a distributor of fuel-efficient, diesel-powered vehicles produced by India's Mahindra & Mahindra. She replaces Bill Goetze, who will remain as senior advisor and past president. Durham, who joined the firm in January 2008 as vice president-finance and administration, was most recently senior vice president and general manager.
