Volvo Trucks has named Terry Billings vice-president of US dealer sales. He has served with the company 27 years, most recently as director of commercial management. Billings will remain at Volvo Trucks' North American headquarters in Greensboro NC. Herb Broadmeadow was recently named vice-president of national accounts for the company. During his 34-year career with the firm, he has held various sales positions, including vice-president of the southwestern US region and director of national accounts. He will continue to be based at Greensboro NC.

Ed Mansell has joined MAC Trailer as director of engineering. With 20 years' experience in engineering and manufacturing cargo tank trailers and pressure vessels, he previously served with Polar Tank Trailer as chief engineer/director of engineering for 10 years.

Tom Hack has joined Heil Trailer International as a supervisor for the Rhome TX location. With more than 10 years of manufacturing and quality experience in the automotive industry, he will report to James Means, Rhome manufacturing facility plant manager. Greg Casey has joined Heil as manager of human resources for the Gatesville TX location. With more than 10 years of business experience and five years in HR leadership roles, he will report to Rich Strickland, vice-president-human resources.

Johnson Refrigerated Truck Bodies has restructured its sales organization and expanded geographical coverage by its regional sales managers (RSMs). Marty Levack, RSM, has relocated to Jacksonville FL, where he will focus on expanding market share in the Southeast including Florida and Texas. Dolores Cote, RSM in the Northeast, will continue to serve her customer base and will support sales penetration in Miami, the Northeast corner of the United States, and eastern Canada. Cote has also accepted the position of leasing manager. Dennis Peterson, RSM, will add western Canada to his existing western US coverage. Rob Ulsh, RSM in the Northeast, will expand his coverage to New York, Ohio, and Kentucky. The Midwest region will expand to include North and South Dakota, Kansas, Indiana, and Michigan. Bob Rath, who has managed the Midwest territory for the past 31 years, has retired from Johnson effective October 1.

Wayne Grundmeier has joined American LaFrance as director of sales for the recently announced Commercial Truck Division. He recently served as director of key accounts at Heil Environmental Industries Ltd.

East Manufacturing Corporation recently promoted David Kinsley to vice-president of materials. He joined the firm as a procurement analyst in June 2006 and was promoted to director of materials in April 2008. Bill McKenzie has been promoted to director of dealer development and flatbed product manager. He joined East in 2007 as product manager for platform products.
