Danzer Industries Inc has named Kirby McLaughlin president and chief executive officer effective Sept 1, 2005. He will succeed Mel Williams, who has served as president and CEO for the past eight years and is retiring at the end of October 2005. McLaughlin most recently was a vice-president and corporate officer for Danzer.
Wastequip has appointed Steve Ellingboe as western regional manager of technical products for the West Coast area. Most recently, he worked for K-PAC as national sales manager.
Stellar Industries Inc has promoted Steve Schnieders from engineering manager to manager of operations. The company also named David Backus its new chief financial officer. He was previously a financial consultant and before that vice-president of finance at The Knapheide Mfg.
Todd Haines has been named vice-president of human resources at Kentucky Trailer, while Greg Bannen has been promoted to vice-president of information technology, a newly created position. Haines brings 20 years of human resource management experience to the company, and Bannen was previously a manager in the IT department.
John Brockmeier has been promoted to Aurora Trailer's corporate used trailer manager, and Mike Breaman was named corporate operations manager. Brockmeier has worked for companies such as Wabash National, Fruehauf Trailer Services, XTRA, and AJF Leasing. Breaman served with GE's Trailer Fleet Services business unit.
