J D “Jim” Kelly has been elected to Wabash National Corp's board of directors. Kelly is president of engine business and a vice-president for Cummins Inc. John T Hackett plans to retire from Wabash's board of directors when his term expires at the company's 2006 annual meeting. Hackett has been a Wabash director since 1991 and chairman since 2001. The board also appointed William P Greubel, Wabash chief executive officer and a director, to serve as board chairman upon Hackett's retirement.

Michael Gainey has joined Heil Trailer International's Sales Group as director of sales — North America. Based in Chattanooga TN he will be accountable for both Heil and K/S sales organizations. Gainey brings 25 years of sales and customer service experience to the organization. Heil has added David Anderson to its technical service team by promoting him to technical service manager. A 17-year Heil employee, he has served in various capacities and has experience in all facets of trailer design and manufacturing.

Hyundai Translead has hired Kevin Motz as the new national sales director — trailer sales in the northeastern United States. He will be based in Lisle IL. Motz has seven years' experience as a national account manager, OEM account manager, and product manager.

Reinke Mfg Inc has hired Russ Reinke as vice-president of manufacturing. The son of company founder Richard Reinke, he has served as a member of the Reinke Mfg board of directors for more than 20 years. He previously served as plant manager with Ipsco Tubulars Inc.

David Morrow has joined Brenner Tank LLC as a regional sales manager for the Mid-East Region. From his Cincinnati OH base, he will serve Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan. Morrow previously was western regional sales manager for Heil Trailer International.

Omaha Standard has promoted Ross Moser to quotation and warranty coordinator, and he will be based in Council Bluffs IA. Moser has prior experience as a regional customer service representative for the company.

Reading Truck Body LLC announces that Mark Robinson has been named chief financial officer of The Reading Group. He is the former senior vice-president/CFO of Morgan Corp. Tracy Roy has joined Reading Truck Body as a zone manager for the territory of Kentucky, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, southern Indiana, and southern Illinois. He has worked recently as national fleet account manager for Midway Ford and in outside sales for American Equipment Co and Brown Cargo Van.

Dallas Smith Corp has promoted Johan Boshoff to vice-president of design and engineering and hired Bill Riley as executive vice-president — sales and marketing. Boshoff served nearly three years as director of design and engineering services at Dallas Smith. Riley brings 30 years experience in sales at Marmon-Herrington.
