Wabash National Corporation today announced it will drop Arthur Anderson as its independent auditors for the year ending December 31, 2002. Wabash chose Ernst & Young LLP to replace the embattled auditing firm.
Wabash selected Ernst & Young after careful consideration by the Wabash Audit Committee, the board of directors and management. The decision to change auditors was not the result of any disagreement between the trailer manufacturer and Arthur Andersen on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure, Wabash said.
