Goshen IN-based Supreme Corp is expanding its manufacturing operations to the Pacific Northwest with the opening of Supreme Northwest in Woodburn OR.

The plant expansion is the culmination of a campaign to expand sales in the Pacific Northwest, particularly in the areas of Portland OR, Seattle WA, and Vancouver WA. Formerly serviced by Supreme's Moreno Valley CA manufacturing plant, these areas will now be served by the Woodburn plant, reducing freight costs.

This plant sits on 13 acres of land and features more than 108,000 square feet of manufacturing space. It will employ approximately 120 people.

The first job run at Woodburn plant will be for Budget Rental. From January through May, this plant will produce 840 16- and 24-foot trucks exclusively to fulfill a contract with the company.

After the Budget contract is fulfilled, the plant will produce Supreme truck bodies including Spartan service bodies, Inner-City cutaways, Spartan cargo vans, stake beds, and van bodies.

The opening of the Woodburn plant will increase the number of Supreme's manufacturing facilities from five to six and its total number of facilities from 16 to 17.
