Scientific Brake & Equipment Company, Saginaw, Mich., has received nationwide recognition for its outstanding service and operational excellence. The truck parts and service provider has been honored with the 2005 Heavy Duty Parts and Service Location of the Year Award.
For this first year of the award, the Heavy Duty Representatives Association nominated over 100 service locations across the country, and then voted to decide the 12 winners.
“We at Scientific are proud to receive this award,” says John Princing, president. “We continually strive to deliver high-caliber, quality service in all facets of our organization.”
After six months of nominations, the award recipients were announced at the recent Council of Fleet Specialists annual meeting. The other 11 branch providers receiving the Location of the Year Award were: AC Brake Co. of Louisville, Ky.; Automotive Brake Co. of New Windsor, N.Y.; Class 8 Parts of New Holland, Pa.; FleetPride of Cheektowaga, N.Y.; Fort Garry Industries of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Midway Truck Parts of Bensenville, Ill.; Ogburn Brake & Supply of Fort Worth, Texas; Ohio Diesel Fleet Supply of Youngstown, Ohio; Pascale Service Corp. of Pawtucket, R.I.; Power Battery & Truck Parts of Patterson, N.J.; Springfield Brake Co. of Springfield, Mo.
