Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics' facility in Granville NY has achieved certification under the IS0 14001 environmental standard. The plant manufactures a line of polymer-based foam sealing, bonding, and gasketing products.
The award was gained in an audit that also granted the company an upgrade to the process-based ISO 9001:2000, and renewed its accreditation as a QS9000 company. The newer IS0 14001 standard examines all environmental aspects and impacts of business processes.
