Vic Maret, vice-president of strategic & OEM accounts with Thermo King Corporation, died April 7 after battling a significant respiratory condition. Since 1973, he has been connected to the transportation industry starting as an assistant service manager with Fruehauf Corporation. From 1974 to 1986, Maret worked with RTC Transportation Inc most recently as vice-president of maintenance, and from 1986 to 1988 he served as regional sales director for Timpte Inc. He became familiar with Thermo King refrigeration units and joined the company as a manager of parts marketing August 15, 1988. He is survived by his wife Vicki and three daughters, Carrie, Kim, and Sarah.
