Kirby A McLaughlin, the former president of Danzer Industries in Hagerstown MD, died February 6, 2009, at his home in Carlisle PA. He was 46. Born Nov. 23, 1962, in Chambersburg PA, he was the son of Jack M and Julia Kauffman McLaughlin of Mercersburg PA. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in mechanical engineering and earned an MBA from Frostburg University. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Marci Angle McLaughlin, whom he married May 23, 1997; two sisters, Lisa M McCulloh of Mercersburg and Jill M Martin of Elizabethtown PA; and two nephews.
