New Omaha Standard manufacturing plant nears completion

Omaha Standard’s construction of its new manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is on schedule, with the office move taking place in January and the facility fully operational in February.

Omaha Standard’s construction of its new manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is on schedule, with the office move taking place in January and the facility fully operational in February.

The company will manufacture its lines of truck bodies, hoists, liftgates and accessories in the new plant.

Omaha Standard started construction on the 205,000-square-foot facility in March. The move of the production lines began in mid-November and will be completed by the end of the year, with the transition to e-coat finishing taking place simultaneously.
