Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America (MFTA), its Japanese parent company, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Co (MFTBC), and Dothan AL dealer Coffman International have teamed up to present the Wiregrass Area Chapter of the American Red Cross with three Mitsubishi Fuso trucks.
The Wiregrass Area Chapter of the American Red Cross has been helping victims in the Hurricane Katrina disaster zone.
In a brief ceremony in Dothan recently, representatives of the three firms presented the vehicles' keys to Susan B Holmes, executive director of the Red Cross's Wiregrass Area Chapter.
Logistically, the three Class 3 FE model trucks — each with a body payload allowance of about 6,000 pounds — will be titled and maintained by the Wiregrass Area Chapter.
