Trailmobile Canada Ltd's president, Mark Burgess, has tendered his resignation. Thomas E Wiseman, vice-president-sales and marketing for Trailmobile Corp, has been named interim president, pending completion of a search for Burgess' replacement. Burgess, who will take on a senior position with an automotive OEM in the midwestern United States, will remain on the Trailmobile board of directors.

Mack Trucks Inc has named Arthur Schuller, Theodore "Ted" A Vick, and J Tom Brown managers-national accounts. Schuller most recently was general manager of a major truck manufacturer. Before joining Mack, Vick served as vice-president of sales and marketing with Jost International. Brown accepted a transfer to national accounts, having previously worked as district sales manager with Mack. The company also has promoted Jeffrey A Paolano to vice-president-labor relations. Paolano joined Mack in 1999 as executive director-labor relations.

Peter G Hempenstall has rejoined Reading Body Works Inc as national sales manager, and John P Rendine has been promoted to senior zone manager and executive director of education. Hempenstall previously was employed as director of sales and marketing of Manning Equipment in Louisville KY. Rendine has worked for the past 14 years as Northeast zone manager for Reading. Michael Snyder has joined the firm as zone manager for the Great Lakes Region. His territory will include Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and western Pennsylvania. Snyder previously was employed as national sales manager of Leyman Liftgate and as national accounts manager for Auto Crane.

Omaha Standard has appointed John Petrillo project manager. He has experience as a distributor of truck equipment and as a manufacturer's representative. Petrillo will be working with customers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Hyundai Precision America (HPA) has opened its new national accounts sales office in Columbus OH. Brian Prall has been named national accounts sales director in the Midwest-Northeast portion of the United States for HPA freight and reefer trailers. He will also represent HPA intermodal equipment. Prall most recently was director of intermodal sales.
