Longhorn Bus Sales of Houston, Texas, the oldest distributor of new buses in Texas, has been named IC Corporation’s 2004 National Dealer of the Year.

Longhorn Bus Sales of Houston, Texas, the oldest distributor of new buses in Texas, has been named IC Corporation’s 2004 National Dealer of the Year.

More than 400 IC Corporation dealer principals, general managers, sales professionals and corporate employees recently gathered in Kissimmee, Fla., to celebrate the company's industry-leading market share and hear the announcement of the awards.

The rest of the winners:

Eastern Region Dealer of the Year: Leeds Transit, Inc. (Elgin, Ontario, Canada). The first ever IC Corporation dealer in Canada.

Midwest Region Dealer of the Year: Miami Valley International Trucks, Inc. (Cincinnati, Ohio). Covers southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana.

Southeast Region Dealer of the Year: Rivers Bus Sales, Inc. (Jacksonville, Fla.). Has been serving the Southeast since 1919

IC Corporation selects the Dealer of the Year winners based on a number of performance criteria. These particular dealers excelled in all of the criteria required by IC Corporation for consideration in the Dealer of the Year pool. These factors include a variety of dealer performance metrics including market share, customer satisfaction ratings, and year-over-year performance improvements.
