Life Seal Helps Halt Spring Brake Failures

Holland Anchorlok's next-generation Life Seal spring brake helps eliminate spring brake failures by completely sealing the emergency chamber. It doesn't require vent holes, a breather tube, a Gore-Tex filter, or other air filters. Water and other contaminants cannot enter the emergency chamber to attack or corrode the main spring. The new technology uses an internal valve that allows air to exhaust through the vehicle's air system. A form-fitting pressure plate makes the Life Seal one of the smallest standard and long-stroke spring brakes. A new induction heat-treated compression spring with an increased wire diameter reduces internal spring stress, providing consistent output while extending spring life.
