Liberty Kenworth has moved its headquarters to Swedesboro, N.J., from Chester, Pa., to provide customers with easier access to major travel corridors and to a wider selection of Kenworth's heavy- and medium-duty models.

A member of the Kenworth dealer network of nearly 300 locations in the United States and Canada, the new Liberty Kenworth of Southern New Jersey in Swedesboro is on a 10-acre site and features a 26,000-square-foot building, 16 service bays, a large parts department, more showroom floor space, and larger parking lot. The new location also features easier access to Interstate 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike.

"With the dealership's proximity to major travel corridors, drivers no longer have to maneuver through heavy inner city traffic to reach us," said Rich Dougherty, general manager for Liberty Kenworth of Southern New Jersey. "Since the facility is located in an industrial area with warehouses, it's convenient for customers. The larger parking lot also makes the new location much easier for drivers to navigate."

Customer support includes four parts-delivery trucks, which help keep the maintenance shops of fleet customers well supplied, and one service bay specifically dedicated to preventive and express maintenance services. The dealership also has a comfortable driver's lounge with an eating area and kitchen facilities.

Liberty Kenworth of Southern New Jersey is located in Swedesboro at 2160 Route 322, across the Delaware River 15 miles southwest of Philadelphia. Dealership hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The phone number is 856-803-1700 or toll-free 800-947-4598.
