Kenworth is offering new Caterpillar C13 and C11 engine models for the OEM's Class 8 trucks.

Caterpillar's C13 engine is rated at 470 hp and 1,550 lb.-ft. or 1,650 lb.-ft. of torque for Kenworth's T2000, T800, T600, W900 and C500 models.

Caterpillar's C11 engine is offered in ratings of 350- and 370-hp and 1,450 lb.-ft. torque for order on all Kenworth Class 8 models.

Kenworth is also now offering Watson & Chalin's new 20,000-lb. Tru-Track steerable lift axle on Kenworth T800, W900, and C500 models for vocational applications.

"The 20K steerable pusher enables truck operators to keep weight down and increase payload capacity," said Steve Gilligan, Kenworth general marketing manager. "Customers can also benefit from the reduced stress on the frame and chassis, as well as reduced tire scrubbing, provided by a steerable lift axle suspension."
