Workhorse Custom Chassis celebrated the 100,000th chassis to come off its production line since it began manufacturing operations in 1999.

Bimbo Bakeries USA joined the chassis and walk-in truck manufacturer in marking the event, which included the presentation of Workhorse's 99,999th chassis to Bimbo officials by Jay Sandler, Workhorse vice-president of sales-commercial product.

Workhorse's RV chassis customer, Winnebago Industries, was presented with the 100,000th chassis. Workhorse manufactures chassis for walk-in trucks, motor homes and buses as well as complete walk-in trucks.

The new W42 chassis provides improvements in walk-in truck ride and handling and features a new International R VT 275 diesel engine option.

Grupo Bimbo has thousands of delivery trucks for its operations in Mexico. A recent order of 90 chassis was the first to Workhorse by Grupo Bimbo's United States division, Bimbo Bakeries USA, which is based in Fort Worth TX.
