The Board has adopted an aggressive Strategic Plan calling for increases in programs and services, membership growth and significant attendance increases at the annual Work Truck Show. The Board collectively identified trends impacting the industry and created a plan with actionable and measurable goals to lead the organization into the future.

The Board is composed of 12 members, eight elected from the Distributor membership category and four elected from the Manufacturer category. Newly elected Trustees will serve three-year terms beginning at the NTEA Annual Meeting in March 2005 in Indianapolis, IN. Elected Trustees must be an owner or officer in a company, most preferably the CEO or a vice president. The Board has the authority to waive the requirement that a nominee hold one of those positions.

To nominate a colleague, use The Board of Trustees nomination form that will be distributed to members in September. Nominations also can be submitted to any member of the Board (a complete listing of the Board is available at www.ntea.com) or to Jim Carney, NTEA executive director, by calling 1-800-441-NTEA (6832) or e-mail [email protected]. Nominations are due no later than Friday, Oct. 29.
