IMPCO has achieved ship-thru capability as a Gaseous Fuels Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) of Ford Motor Company.

Effective May 17, 2013, IMPCO began ship-thru for E-Series and Super-Duty vehicles, including all F250 through F550 body styles, with the company's CNG bi-fuel prep package. The ship-thru program facilitates the vehicle's progress from the Ford Motor Company assembly plant into IMPCO Automotive's assembly plant in Union City, IN, for CNG bi-fuel system installation before being sold to Ford Dealers.

CNG/LPG conversion components and processes are designed and validated utilizing IMPCO Automotive's industry leading technology as well as its engineering and OEM expertise.

The entire gaseous fuel system adheres to IMPCO Automotive's strict quality, durability, and safety testing requirements to ensure a superior and safe product to the end customer, and the production process is accomplished according to Ford procedures. Once the installation of the fuel system is completed in IMPCO's facility, the vehicle re-enters Ford's delivery channels to reach its destination to the final user's site.

The IMPCO ship-thru capability improves the company's service of main fleet customers throughout the US by providing fleet managers quality control, mileage, convenience and scheduling assurances.
