Hino Trucks ranks highest among conventional medium-duty trucks in the 2010 J.D. Power and Associates Medium-Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study, topping the rankings for the second time in the past three years in this segment.

The study, now in its 18th year, was developed to provide manufacturers with a comprehensive and objective measure of customer satisfaction with products, dealer service and parts in the Class 5-7 commercial vehicle market.

Based on the 2009 model year, Hino Trucks scored highest in each of the six factors used to determine overall satisfaction: warranty; engine; cost of operation; ride/handling/braking; cab and body; and transmission. The study was fielded between June and July, 2010 and is based on responses from over 1,200 primary maintainers of 2009 model-year Class 5, 6 and 7 conventional cab medium-duty trucks.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious recognition from our customers with this award from J.D. Power and Associates,” said Glenn Ellis, Vice President of Marketing and Dealer Operations for Hino. “We understand the value of a satisfied customer and are proud to be meeting and exceeding these high expectations. Our goal is to continue to set the industry standard in producing a world-class vehicle.”
