A revised product identification convention for Hendrickson Intraax and Vantraax trailer suspension systems makes model nomenclature more accurate.

This new convention better reflects capacity and functions of Intraax and Vantraax systems. For example, it defines the Vantraax slider model with a system capacity of 40,000 pounds as HKANT 40K (the 40K representing system capacity), where it formerly was named HKA180. In an example for a primary suspension system, the top-mount Intraax 23,000-lb capacity becomes AAT 23K from the former reference, AA230T.

Besides defining capacity, the new designation provides product information including ride height and axle track.

A full list of model references, capacities, ride heights, and model recommendations is available in Hendrickson's new Application Guide (L707 Revision A), while the new Intraax terminology is included in the latest Intraax brochure (L 614 Revision B). Model designations for HT Series suspensions remain unchanged.
