Heil schedules factory training courses

The Heil Institute of Technology announces its 2007 schedule of factory training courses. Most of the classes will be held at the Joseph F Heil Jr Education Center, a dedicated training facility adjacent to the Heil Environmental manufacturing plant in Fort Payne AL. To better serve customers in the West, five classes also are planned for Phoenix AZ.

The full fee for any of the courses is $500, including training aids, lunch each day and a certificate of course completion. Students are responsible for travel, lodging, and other meals. Technicians who complete a course are eligible to earn continuing education units (CEUs). Class sizes are limited.

Dates and courses for 2007 are:

  • April 24-26* — PLC/ electronics

  • May 1-3 — DuraPack 5000/PowerTrak Commercial rear loaders

  • May 15-18 — Formula 7000 automated side loader

  • June 5-7 — PLC/electronics

  • July 10-13 — Formula 7000 automated side loader

  • July 24-27 — Rapid Rail automated side loader/STARR System

  • Aug 28-31 — DuraPack Python

  • Sept 4-6* — PLC/electronics

  • Sept 18-21* — DuraPack Python

  • Oct 16-19* — Rapid Rail automated side loader/STARR System

  • Nov 6-9 — DuraPack Python

Classes with an asterisk (*) will be held in Phoenix.
