Freightliner Trucks announced that Forestry Equipment of Virginia (FEVA) has purchased 75 Freightliner Business Class M2 106 trucks.

Based in Forest, Va., FEVA specializes in mounting aerial lifts for the forestry industry. FEVA is a final-stage manufacturer that assembles its own trucks, and is the only forestry equipment manufacturer that stocks finished trucks. Its inventory includes six standard trucks including rear mounted and forestry units.

“Durability is so important to our customers – they require trucks that can withstand adverse, off-road conditions,” said Bob Dray, sales and marketing manager for Forestry Equipment of Virginia. “From its aluminum chassis to the multiplex wiring system to the safety features, the M2 106 is the right fit for all of our needs.”

A 55-degree wheel cut, set back front axle and swept-back bumper contribute to the truck’s maneuverability – ideal for forestry applications.
