Ford awards steering column contract to Delphi

Ford Motor Co. has awarded Delphi Corp. a contract to supply steering columns for the automaker's F-150 pickup truck series, the companies said. Financial terms were not disclosed. Delphi will begin supplying columns for F-Series trucks beginning in the 2004 model year. Those models include two new light trucks, the Lariat and FX4. Delphi has several parts contracts with Ford, including energy and engine management products, transmission products and thermal products.
