In response to growing concerns about the future of United States manufacturing, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association International (FMA), has dedicated resources to providing the federal government with the current condition of the manufacturing industry.

FMA's financial support for Securing America's Future: The Case for a Strong Manufacturing Base, a study released by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Council of Manufacturing Associations and prepared by Joel Popkin and Co, explores what manufacturing has done for America and what it will look like in the future.

The study takes a look at manufacturing's benefits, such as economic growth and productivity, as well as current challenges like loss of jobs and an unskilled workforce.

Any company wishing to provide its government representatives with this research in order to gain support to improve US manufacturing may view the complete study online at www.nam.org.
