Eaton Corporation has expanded its UltraShift line of automated transmissions with a fully automated 10-speed gearbox.

The computer-controlled automatic is based on the Eaton Fuller 10-speed “B” ration transmission. It is offered in four torque capacities from 1,050 to 1,650 lb-ft. Currently in limited quantity release, the company plans to ramp up production to 1,000 units over the next 12 months. Full production begins in the spring of 2004. (www.roadranger.com)
