Emergency One Inc (E-One) has begun the first phase of delivery on a 23-unit contract for Johannesburg, South Africa. The total order includes:

  • Six pumper tankers, seven 50-ft towers, two air trucks for refilling SCBA bottles, two industrial pumpers, and one 16-ft walk-in rescue body, all mounted on International Truck 4900, four-door cab/chassis units.

  • Five E-One 110-ft aerial ladders with E-One's fire service-specialized Hurricane cab and torque box chassis.

All units were constructed with an extruded aluminum body design, and all chassis units are right-hand drive as required for South Africa. The 110-ft aerial ladders and Hurricane cabs are also designed and built with extruded aluminum. The contract was secured via E-One's authorized dealer in South Africa, EFA Sales Pty Ltd.
