Diamatrix Inc has announced the acquisition of John Evans Mfg Co of Sumter SC. John Evans manufactures specialized equipment including log trailers and similar products for the construction and forest product industries. Diamatrix is the owner of transportation equipment manufacturing and parts sales companies including Strick Trailers, a manufacturer of dry freight vans, and Cheetah Chassis, manufacturer of intermodal container chassis.
“We plan to introduce the quality processes and automated systems that have made our companies industry leaders,” said Densil Williams, president and chief executive officer of Strick Trailers. “In addition, we believe that our companies can learn from John Evans ways to approach the smaller orders of specialized products that more and more of our customers want.”
