Detroit Diesel Corporation’s family of engines has been certified by the Environmental Protection Agency as meeting 2010 emissions regulations.

The engines, which utilize the BlueTec emissions control system, will meet the 2010 emissions standards without the use of credits. According to Detroit Diesel, the engines deliver fuel economies up to 5% over 2007 engines while reducing production of greenhouse gases.
