Ready-mix and other construction segment customers voiced optimism about Kenworth business prospects for 2005 at the recent World of Concrete convention in Las Vegas NV.

“We anticipate a solid construction market overall in 2005, and that was reflected in the positive comments by attendees at the show,” said Steve Gilligan, Kenworth general marketing manager. “Heavy-construction spending looks strong with projects planned in highways, power and transportation. Gains are also expected in non-residential spending, such as security-related projects, healthcare facilities and hotels.”
